Terms of Service

Last updated: October 16, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Intenseloop, which operates UserPath, for using userpath.app, its API, the userpath CLI and the UserPath MCP server.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By signing in to or using UserPath (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. If you use it for an organization, you agree for that organization and confirm you may do so.

2. The Service

UserPath is product analytics for websites and apps. It provides:

  • a tracking script and SDKs, and an API to send events from your servers;
  • reports on visitors, pages, sources, people and their journeys, goals, events, errors, performance, revenue you report and bot traffic;
  • Campaigns, to email the people who signed up for an app's news or bought from it, with signup forms and connections that keep that list in sync from your database, a web address or Stripe;
  • Ask, an assistant that answers questions about your data;
  • the userpath CLI and an MCP server for AI agents.

UserPath is in early access. Most people who sign in join a waitlist, and features may change, be limited or be removed while we build it.

3. Accounts

You sign in with Google, and you must use an account that is yours. You are responsible for what happens under your account, in your workspaces and with the API keys and CLI or MCP sign-ins you create. Keep keys secret, and tell us right away at [email protected] if you think someone used your account or a key without permission. Workspace owners decide who joins their workspace and with which role.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service:

  • for anything unlawful, or to get others to act unlawfully;
  • to violate any law or regulation that applies to you;
  • to infringe our intellectual property or anyone else's;
  • to harass, abuse, defame, intimidate or discriminate against anyone;
  • to send false or misleading information;
  • to upload or spread malicious code;
  • to spam, phish, or scrape or crawl the Service;
  • to get around its security, its limits or another customer's access, or to overload it.

5. Data you collect with UserPath

When you track a site or app with UserPath, you are the controller of the data collected about its visitors and we process it on your behalf, as our Privacy Policy describes. You confirm that:

  • you have the right to collect that data from your users;
  • you follow the privacy laws that apply to you;
  • you tell your users about UserPath in your own privacy notice, and get their consent where the law requires it;
  • you don't send us passwords, payment card numbers, government ids or health data through events, properties or identify calls;
  • you email with Campaigns only people who agreed to hear from you, say truthfully how each agreed, and give your real business name and postal address. UserPath honors unsubscribes for you and stops emailing addresses that bounce or report spam, and you don't work around that;
  • you may give UserPath read access to the databases, web addresses and Stripe accounts you connect, and to the people's data they hold.

You own the data you send to UserPath. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the Service to you.

6. Ask and AI features

Ask's answers are written by AI models (Anthropic's Claude) from your reports. They can be wrong or incomplete, so check them before you rely on them for important decisions. Ask is metered and may have usage limits, and may be unavailable at times. Changes Ask suggests only happen when you confirm them. You agree not to abuse, reverse engineer or work around Ask or its limits.

If you connect GitHub, you confirm you may give UserPath access to the repositories you choose. Ask reads them only in conversations where you turn GitHub on, and opens a pull request only when you confirm the change it shows you; it never merges. You are responsible for reviewing a pull request before you merge it.

7. Fees

There is no billing in UserPath today. If and when we offer paid plans, prices and terms will be shown before you pay, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, design and content belong to Intenseloop and its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. These terms don't give you any rights to them beyond using the Service.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, including the data we receive when you sign in with Google, and how we use it. It is part of these terms.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using UserPath at any time. To delete your account or leave the waitlist, email [email protected]. We may suspend or end your access, without notice, if you break these terms or if it's needed to protect the Service or other users.

11. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, and we don't guarantee that analytics data or Ask's answers are accurate, complete or timely, or that the Service will be uninterrupted.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Intenseloop and its directors, employees, partners, agents and suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including lost profits, data, use or goodwill, resulting from your use of the Service.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Espírito Santo, Brazil, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We'll post the new version here and update the date at the top; for material changes, we'll give at least 30 days' notice before they take effect.
